Who Am I? |
A Maker's Bio
Hello! My name is Connor and I'm a student in the Mechatronics Academy. I have two parents, two grandparents and one sister who live in the same house as me, Things get... a little hectic. I enjoy creating things with my hands, often moving straight towards building rather than printing my design out onto paper, however, I'm slowly getting better at following the engineering design process when I decide to build something. One of my favorite pass times outside of the classroom is skiing, even though I can only do it during the Winter (that's like 1/2 of the year in Alberta). During the season I try to get out on the hill as often as I can.
I spend a crazy amount of time outside of the house with my friends. Whether it be an arcade, the movie theatre, or just wandering the streets laughing and messing around I always try my hardest to surround myself with friends who try to remain positive. My friends and I are constantly thinking of organizing trips when we graduate. The most frequently asked question however is where would we go? Ideally I'd love to visit somewhere in central Europe, perhaps I could see Switzerland again. In the summer of 2018 I went to Kenya with my family. It was an unforgettable experience and truly opened my eyes and gave me an ever growing interest in traveling. On our way to Kenya we stayed 5 days in Switzerland. Although it was craaaazy expensive since Canadian currency sucks when traveling it was a beautiful country and I've been eager to go back ever since.
